Bruce A. Levy, MD

Academic Chief of Sports Medicine
Director, Sports Medicine Surgical Fellowship

Dr. Levy came to Orlando Health from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where he was professor of orthopedic surgery in the Division of Sports Medicine, program director of the Mayo Clinic Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship, and founder of the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Research Program, which he started in 2007. Since the program's inception, research fellows have been highly successful in the orthopedic match.

Dr. Levy has been principal investigator on multicenter trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense. His clinical work centers on complex knee trauma—the knee dislocation, the multiligament-injured knee, and hip arthroscopy.
